Have you been scouring the direct tv channel lineup trying to decide which recent films to take a second look at? We’ve put together some reviews of the films we see airing most often for your viewing pleasure
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps – Grade: B- We wanted to give this film a glowing review, we really did, but it just didn’t live up to all the hype. Shia Lebouf makes a great protg but the whole thing seemed stilted and dated.
Salt – Grade A- If you like action films with a twist, this one’s for you. We weren’t expecting much from Angelina Jolie here but she really came through in a way we admired. She’s got the acting chops and the plot here is more interesting than it needed to be so kudos, Salt.
Hanna – Grade C – We hoped this Liam Nieson thriller would live up to “Taken” but it just didn’t. It was a weird mix of action and disturbing as the star was a young girl trained tokill people, and we just couldn’t get into it.
